Vogue - The Book

The first book on the history of Vogue Magazine In Vogue: The Illustrated History of the World's Most Famous Fashion Magazine has arrived. This is going to be the must-have tome of the year and quite possibly the must-have tome of all time (in terms of a coffee table fashion book). Vogue says, in a recent article about book, "...the story of Conde Nast's transformation of a small society journal into the fashion magazine of record is the story of fashion itself..." The book chronicles over 100 years of fashion through the eyes, or shall I say the lens of Vogue. "We wanted to really go-in-depth, from how the magazine was born to how the editorial formula was developed and how it is produced today," says one of the editors. I am definitely looking forward to this book. (Perhaps this would be a perfect Christmas gift, from someone to myself!)
