A complete success. His informal presentation was presented in cold warehouse setting right off the west side highway. It was simple yet effective. Wang, along with his collection is the next biggest thing in fashion right now. The laid-back relaxed Wang was mingling in the crowd, while a slew of press, buyers and a large flowing of friends and admirers were bowling over his rocker-esque collection. He used dulled sequins and studs, skinny leather motorcycle pants (haven’t seen these in a while) gold detailing and wool accents. I loved the white sequined “Armor” dress and the pebbled wool military coat as well as a cape titled “Members Only.” Alexander Wang is definitely on the fashion radar and definitely one to watch.
