The opening quote in the show notes - "Look ahead...and don't turn back..." - this collection was all about a strong femininity and an empowered women. It usually always is as DVF is a strong believer in the power of a woman, yet this collection was bolder than anything I have seen of late. I loved the mix of black and red and the shots of fuchsia and turquoise, all alongside her ubiquitous DVF prints. There were some great knits paired over dresses. The bubble silhouette made an appearance yet again. One of my favorite looks was look #23 - the jersey paperback dress. It was a simple V neck shift-like dress, so simple yet so chic.
Side Note: I loved the shoes. Every pair that came out were great. They deserved their own show. It's no surprise though as they were all from Christian Louboutin.
