Front and center at the Thakoon show was Anna Wintour and all her girls - Creative Director, Grace Coddington; Style Director, Alexandra Kotur; Fashion News/Features Director, Sally Singer; Fashion Market/Accessories Director, Virgina Smith; Senior Market Editor, Meredith Melling Burke; Fashion Writers, Florence Kane and Jane Herman; Beauty Director, Sarah Brown. I guess the whole office took the hour off to come support an ex- fellow editor.
Side Note: Anna was drinking a Starbucks Venti something. I was shocked to see the editrix, known for carrying nothing but a cell phone and sunglasses, holding her Venti throughout the show. She put it on the floor for most of the show and scooped it up right before she made her usual mad dash exit. (At least she cleans up after herself.)
