Woman in Chains

I love the whole multi-layer gold chain look. This '80s look, coined by style.com, is only really eighties by way of all the gold accouterments. Remove the chains and you have a plain ol' black dress. Add the chains and you have a fashion forward look. Accessories do wonders for any outfit. The key is really knowing which accessories to pair with which outfits. This look would have been equally as alluring with a strand or two of pearls paired with the chains. Beside the necklaces, I love the whole look including the hair but minus the sandals. I don't really care much for the black-and-white sailor-esque footwear. A patent or plain black sandal would have been ideal as the focus should be the accessories and gold trimming.
