According to WWD, retail rents in Manhattan are on the rise, with Madison Avenue passing $1,000 and Fifth Avenue tottering around $1,500 per square foot. And according to the COO of Cushman & Wakefield, Fifth Avenue is now considered the prime destination for luxury and world-class brands, and is the most expensive retail street in the world. This is of no surprise, of course but still an interesting bit of info.
