Malandrino

Inspired by a little village in the South of France, the Malandrino spring 2008 collection was full of charming femininity. With touches like ballooned sleeves, braided organza, lantern shape skirts, mixed with water colour and black and white prints and splashes of bold tangerine, the collection was full of sophisticate and classy pieces that were tinged with a sort of artsy eclecticism that is signature Malandrino. My favorites were the high-waisted pants and the draped nude viscose jersey dress, along with the puffed accents and the high side buns.
