Y-3

The Y-3 show was a production if anything. Complete with a rain machine and housed in an abandon underpass garage in Chelsea, the Y-3 show started with a bang, literally. Thunder, lightening, a rain shower and then the parade of models transported us, for a moment, out of the bustle of fashion week and into another world, the Yohji Yamamoto world. The collection was a little hard to see without a front row bleacher seat, instead I was confined to the sidewalk barricades getting showered now and then whenever the wind decided to blow the rain westward, however, it was great to see nevertheless.
