Runaway Couture

I love this image of Renee Zellweger in a luscious embellished Chanel Haute Couture frock from the spring 2008 collection. The dress, available by special order, is a magnificent juxtaposition of the most exquisite jewels and fabric that only Mr. Lagerfled himself can create. It looked impressive on the catwalk but nothing compared to how it looks floating about on Zellweger in this image shot by Peter Lindbergh and styled by Mary Alice Stephenson for the December issue of Harper's Bazaar.

Seen here (below) on the Chanel spring 2008 Haute Couture runway, the dress looks completely different, only further proving that a dress of such splendor needs to live an active life, and needs to be constantly in motion. This image of Rene Zellweger frolicking about cannot be more perfect, as it shows the true beauty of this couture creation. My bet is that this is another one of those images worthy of a coffee table tome.
