To new beginnings and fresh starts. I wish everyone a great 2008. Looking forward to what the fashion world has to offer this year. I would like to see who (or what) will top 2007, which was a great year in fashion - Valentino's 45th Anniversary in Rome, Valentino's retirement, Karl Lagerfeld's Great Wall of China Fendi fashion show, Anya Hindmarch's I'm Not a Plastic Bag frantic sell out...just to name a few.
Oh and let's not forget Marc Jacobs' great "backwards" show that started with his bow and then the slew of models. Great as it was, it was exaggeratedly late and sent the industry in a rebellious state proving that there are limits in fashion, even when you are Marc Jacobs.
