NY FW Fall 2008: Costello Tagliapietra

I have always been a fan of this duo's creative collaboration. Their shows are always short, concise and to the point. Editors often line the front rows hoping to discover knock-out stellar looks, but it usually is not the case. Costello Tagliapietra is about simplicity, consistency and subdued class, not about killer trends or sell-out styles. It is a formula that works, I think at least, and I continue my patriotism because of it.
