NY FW Fall 2008: Jovovich-Hawk

Jovovich-Hawk's fall 2008 collection resembled an 18-piece thrift store shopping spree. The collection was simple...very simple. In fact it was so stripped down that it literally looked like the girls came back from the thrift store, and on the way back hand-picked girls off the street, brought them to a common place, invited the media and sent them out in their finds. There were the yay finds and the nay finds but somehow it all worked out of a central inspiration. According to Milla Jovovich, who mentioned, "She's the girl rock stars write songs about," it was really a cool and hip rock kind of inspiration.
