Hot for Hot Pants

Here is another take on the season's micro mini hot pants. I love this whole look. I think it has an air of preppy chic (it's the plaid sleeves), sexy and '40s glam. I would definitely wear this look, including the blonde wig, but I would have to extend the hems of these shorts an extra couple of inches (say 25).

The shorts are from Michen, a one-year-old New York based line that mixes vintage with modern producing some very interesting bespoke pieces.

On another note, the wonderful photography is by Mark Squires. This is the first time I notice his work but I will be looking out for him from now on.

And on another note (sorry but I loved this layout), I adore the red lips and thanks to the credits we can all achieve that perfect rouge pout. The lipstick is Maybelline New York Superstay Lipcolor in Cherry.
