The Low Down on Loeffler Randall

I have been following this shoe line since it debuted in 2004. I just love its elegance and chicness. The design and craftsmanship are impeccable. They are simple everyday shoes but far, very far, from your average everyday shoe. I predicted this line to become an imminent luxury label that would eventually become comparable to Tod's, Bottega Veneta, Hogan or Salvatore Ferragamo and my prediction was right on. This fall welcomes a handbag collection and a ready-to-wear line. Besides the prestige of this emerging brand I love the story behind it - a husband and wife team building it from the ground up. It is a rarity today to see such a promising brand grow (so quickly) in the hands of love and passion. I look forward to seeing what this brand brings in the coming years and I look forward to purchasing my first pair of LR shoes.

A sneak peak at the fall 2007 ready-to-wear line I'm just loving this coat.

why doesn't anyone else comment on your posts...? looks like you're stuck w/ me ; )

i live in canada in a town that has very little exposure to great shops, so adding that to a limited shopping budget (much to my chagrin), i need to be really creative w/ my outfits.

w/ that said, i've recently fallen in love w/ a new brand called Joe Fresh Style that was released by Joseph Mimran, the man behind Club Monaco. the line carries great basics at bargain-basement-like prices that you just can't ignore.

upon reading your Loeffler Randall post, i realized that a pair of flats from JFS are just like the LR flats you featured, the silver ones w/ the bow third from the top.

it's great to learn what the inspiration behind these is. thanks for your insight!

The shoes don't do it for me (I'm a sky high heels girl)...but the handbags and ready-to-wear collection are GORGEOUS! Simple smashing.

And Karen, thanks for the tip on Joe Fresh Style. Sounds like I'm off to do some googling now.... ;)
