Macy's has announced that it will be open for 24 hours starting 7 a.m. on December 21st until 6 p.m. on December 24th. Some critics believe these are desperate measures to recover from the bad numbers that aren't ringing up as planned, others think it is a marketing ploy, I think it is the beginning of a new trend - 24 hour retailing.
