NY FW Fall 2008: 3.1 Phillip Lim

If there is one thing for sure about the fall 2008 Phillip Lim collection, it is that Lim is definitely not sticking to safe, wearable or necessarily sellable. Gone are his simple silhouettes and clean lines, Lim is clearly pushing the style boundaries and allowing his artistic side to shine. There was a great mixture of fabrics, both heavy and light, prints, cropped pants, color and oversized shapes. I have my top 5 favorites, all of which I think are great retail ready pieces, however, I would have to challenge the rest of the collection.
