NY FW Fall 2008: Erin Fetherston

I love Erin Fetherston's fall 2008 collection it was girly but not in that in-your-face kind of way. She had her share of floral prints but they were crafted in a grown up way. I am no flower girl, that is a sure thing, but I absolutely loved her long draping black floral splash gown - it is a little sexy girly and well, serious. There is no nonsense for the Erin Fetherston girl. I really liked the bold silhouettes like the red strapless dress, along with all the little details, like puffed sleeves, shimmer fabrics, tiers and the mix of masculine-inspired blazers with dresses and skirts.
