Paris FW: Dior

The Dior show always gives us something to look at and the fall 2007 collection proved that there is a lot to look at - fashion is far from boring. Dior gave us a truly '40s -inspired Old Hollywood collection. It was a full on glam collection incorporating bright punchy colors of fuchsia, peach, lime, and purple. Evening wear was either long and lean or hourglass. There were plenty of cocktail jackets and matching skirt combos and some wonderfully tailored trench coats. One of the finale dresses was a scaled down version of the origami pleated ball gown of his spring couture collection. It was a rather typical Dior collection, one in which we expect nothing less than a memorable show stopping Galliano production.
